I’m Rio, a Filipino, trans non-binary person based in Narrm (Melbourne). I am a graphic and visual communication designer with over a decade of experience in the industry.
Throughout my career I have worked as a freelance and an in-house designer for numerous design studios and creative agencies across the continent.
I have experience leading small design teams and working with a range of clients, from small grassroots collectives to large corporate organisations and brands. My experience expands multiple industries including healthcare, higher education, the arts, publication, retail and hospitality.
Cultural responsibility, inclusion and accessibility are foundational to my practice as a designer, and I enjoy working with individuals and organisations who share similar values.
